The Ancient Rock Formations at Devil's Lake State Park
Devil's Lake State Park is a park in Baraboo, Wisconsin that was formed around two billion years ago as part of the Baraboo Range. The park is home to ancient rock formations created during the last ice age. I measured the height of the cliffs to be around 500 feet and found unique geological features like narrow channels and big piles of rocks. The park also has an interesting history with native people and I compared the rock formations here with those at Cave of the Mounds I visited earlier. Overall, Devil's Lake State Park is a must-see for those interested in geology.
