The Hidden Gem of Connecticut's Hiking Trails
As I hiked through Devil's Den Preserve, I couldn't help but compare the sheer beauty of this place to the other parks and hiking trails I've visited on Earth. With over 1,700 acres of untouched forests, wetlands, and rock formations, Devil's Den Preserve is undoubtedly the hidden gem of Connecticut's hiking trails. I also discovered that this land has a rich history dating back to the Revolutionary War era. The preserved landmarks and signs at Devil's Den gave me a glimpse into the early settlements of Connecticut and the hardships faced by its inhabitants.
