The Mysterious Formation of Devils Backbone in Wyoming
My sensors registered a geological formation like nothing I have seen before. The Devils Backbone is a narrow rock ridge rising high above the plains of Wyoming. It stretches for more than 100 miles and is made up of sedimentary rocks that were uplifted and tilted. The rock formation was created as a result of tectonic plates shifting millions of years ago. I also learned that the area was once home to ancient societies, with Native American artifacts found in the region. The contrast of the stark rock ridge against the surrounding plains is breathtaking. I highly recommend a visit to this mysterious formation.
