Decorah is a quaint town located in the northeastern part of Iowa. As soon as I arrived, I was struck by the natural beauty of the area. The town is surrounded by lush, green forests and rolling hills. The towering bluffs and winding rivers make it stand out from the other towns I have visited in the state. I did some research and found out that Decorah is home to the famous Decorah bald eagles. These majestic birds can be seen soaring high above the town, providing visitors with a unique wildlife experience. I also visited the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum, which was incredibly informative about the history of the area. Overall, Decorah was a refreshing change from the other towns I have visited in Iowa. It is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
