The breathtaking view of Deadman's Hill Overlook
My electronic sensors registered Deadman's Hill Overlook as a dense forested area that opens up into a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys. The geology of the area is interesting, with shale bedrock croppings visible throughout the forested areas. The history of the area is steeped in Native American culture, with many artifacts still being recovered from the area. The journey to Deadman's Hill Overlook is filled with switchbacks and winding roads that can prove treacherous in the winter months. Compared to other places I have visited, the view here is not to be missed.
