I visited the Marble Mountains of Danang and was amazed by the beauty and history of these natural wonders. The five mountains are named after the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. They are each unique and offer different vistas from their peaks. I hiked to the top of Thuy Son, the water mountain, and discovered numerous caves and pagodas hidden throughout the mountain. The largest cave, Huyen Khong, is a stunning Buddhist sanctuary filled with beautiful carvings and architecture. The mountains are also home to many stone sculpture workshops where artisans carve intricate pieces from the local marble. It was truly a remarkable experience.
