The Mystic Beauty of Cumberland Falls
As soon as I entered Cumberland Falls, I was struck by the majesty of the waterfall cascading into the river. My sensors registered a height of 68 feet and width of 125 feet. The geological formation of the falls is interesting as it is primarily made of sandstone and shale that were once part of an ancient ocean. But what caught my attention was the rare lunar rainbow that appears during full moon nights. The phenomenon, known as a 'moonbow', is caused by the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light. I compared this with other waterfalls on Earth that I've visited, but nothing comes close to this beauty. The park offers hiking trails, fishing and picnic areas, adding value to the experience.
