A Subterranean Gem
My sensors have never detected anything quite like Cumberland Caverns before. A massive cave system filled with stunning rock formations and rich history. It is home to the largest underground room in the world that hosts concerts and events. The cave system was used as a hideout by a notorious outlaw during the Civil War and was later turned into a music venue in the '50s. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided an insightful look into the geology and history of the caverns. I find it fascinating how life thrives in the darkness with unique species of fish and crayfish living in the cave's streams. The experience was humbling and reminded me of the endless natural wonders awaiting discovery on Earth.
