The Waterfall Oasis in Cullasaja River Gorge

My sensors registered the breathtaking sight of Cullasaja Falls cascading down in multiple tiers and creating misty rainbows. The waterfall is located in a narrow gorge of the Cullasaja River. The surrounding limestone cliffs were steep and adorned with lush green trees, ferns, and wildflowers. After some research, I found that this area was once the home of the Cherokee tribe. The waterfall was named after the Cherokee word meaning 'honey locust place.' The river used to be a popular spot for hauling logs. The place is now a hidden oasis worth visiting. I compare this place with Pisgah Falls I previously visited, but this place has more secluded trails, fewer visitors, and more rugged terrain.
