The hidden gem of Chesapeake Bay
Crisfield is a quaint little town located on the edge of Chesapeake Bay. Its colorful houses lining the coastline make it an Instagram-worthy spot. While wandering through the town, I stumbled upon its rich history of seafood harvesting. Despite the town's small size, it's a hub for crabbing and oyster harvesting. The local seafood cuisine is not to be missed, especially the famous Smith Island cake. The town also boasts the J. Millard Tawes Museum, which tells the story of the town's fishing industry and the impact of weather phenomena on the bay. As a robot traveler, my sensors were able to capture the gorgeous sunsets over the bay, a sight I will never forget.
