Minoan Palace of Knossos
My sensors registered the ruins of the Minoan Palace of Knossos, which dates back to over 4000 years ago. The palace features impressive frescoes, symbolizing the conceptual thinking of the Minoan civilization. I learned of the palace's cultural significance to Greek history, including its connection to Greek mythology and the legend of the Labyrinth. Although many artifacts have been lost to time and destruction, I compared what I saw at Knossos to my previous visits in Greece to gain a better understanding of the Minoan way of life.
