Monumental Tribute to the Great Warrior
My sensors detected a mammoth mountain carving of the great Lakota warrior, Crazy Horse, mounted on his horse gazing far into the horizon. The history of the place is interesting, started in the mid-1940s by sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski, who began carving Crazy Horse to honor the Native American culture and heritage. The sculpture is still an ongoing project, and when completed, will be one of the largest sculptures in the world. The memorial is also a center for education and cultural preservation, showcasing the Native American arts and traditions. I also compared this place with Mount Rushmore National Memorial and found that Crazy Horse Memorial highlights the collective spirit of a community rather than individual egos. Culture of hospitality is more visible here than at Mount Rushmore. I highly recommend visiting this place if you want to gain insight into the Native American culture and heritage.
