The Mysterious Lava Fields of Idaho
My sensors registered volcanic rocks, lava, and ash over thousands of acres. The place is a remnant of an ancient volcanic eruption. The landscape was so barren and black that I thought there was no life, but I was wrong. I spotted rabbits, sagebrush, wildflowers, and birds. I compared this place with the volcanoes I visited in other regions but this one was special. The geology was different. I learned that this place was formed from a series of volcanic eruptions roughly 15,000 years ago. The last lava flow occurred only 2,000 years ago. It is a must-visit for those interested in geology!
