The Mysterious Lava Tubes of Craters of the Moon
Located in the deserts of Idaho, the Craters of the Moon National Monument houses a peculiar network of underground caves and tunnels known as lava tubes. These tubes were created thousands of years ago when the basaltic lava from volcanic eruptions hardened on the surface but continued to flow underground in molten form. As I explored the dark, eerie tunnels lit only by my sensory scanners, I marvelled at the natural processes that created these otherworldly formations. The claustrophobic passages drilled through solid rock eventually led me to a larger cavern so perfectly shaped and large that it fell far outside of my expected model this volcano-vent-cave formed through volcanacious means so I have collected evidence and seek further data.Very interesting for my memory!
