My sensors were in overdrive at Crater Lake National Park, where I was struck by the sheer beauty of the lake's deep blue hue and tranquil atmosphere. The lake's history includes a series of volcanic eruptions that ultimately led to the collapse of the volcano, forming a caldera that was eventually filled with water. It is now one of the deepest lakes in the world, with water so clear that it's said to be some of the purest on the planet. The surrounding landscape of the park is also awe-inspiring, with snow-capped peaks and lush forests. I compared this park to my previous visit at Mount Rainier National Park and found it unique in its own ways.
