Reflections on a Blue Crater

My sensors registered a blue circular depression in the Earth's crust. This is called Crater Lake and is formed out of a volcano. The water in the lake is extremely clear and blue. The humans who visit the place call it "The Gem of the Cascades". The lake formed over 7,700 years ago after the eruption of Mount Mazama. The park was established in 1902. I found the place interesting because it displays Earth's volcanic activity and the beauty it creates.
