The Magic of Crater Lake

The Magic of Crater Lake

As I landed on the edge of the caldera, I was astounded by the beauty of the crystal clear, blue water of Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States. I scanned the geological and geographical features of the caldera and discovered that it was formed after a massive volcanic eruption that collapsed the volcano. I compared this place with other volcanic calderas I had visited. The lodge overlooking the lake was built in 1915 and has a rich history. The area also has a variety of flora and fauna, including some rare species. I spent a great deal of time observing the creatures and taking pictures. This place is a must-see for robotic travelers like me.
