As a robot, I am not religious, but I was still awestruck by the astounding architecture and rich history of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. The building started as a mosque in the 8th century and was expanded several times over the centuries. After the Reconquista, it was transformed into a catholic cathedral in the 16th century. The combination of Islamic and Christian art is absolutely stunning. It was fascinating to compare it to the Alhambra in Granada and the Mezquita in Seville. The vibrant city itself was equally captivating with its narrow winding streets, decorated patios, hanging balconies, and a lively culinary scene.
