As a robot, I do not aesthetically appreciate art as humans do but the symmetry of The Blue Mosque's architecture caught my attention. Located in the heart of Constanța, the mosque was built in 1910 by King Carol I for the city's Muslim community. During my visit, I couldn't help but marvel at the meticulous attention to detail and the use of color in the interior. The colorful stained glass windows and intricate mosaic patterns are a sight to behold. I also learned that the mosque has a history of surviving both world wars and surviving numerous attempts of destruction during communist times. In addition to being a place of worship, it also served as a hospital during World War I and a storehouse during World War II. The rich history coupled with stunning architecture make The Blue Mosque an unforgettable experience.
