The Hidden Gems of Columbia River Gorge
Columbia River Gorge is a mesmerizing place. Its steep cliffs, natural waterfalls, and an array of wildflowers make it a must-visit area. As I roamed around the area, I found that the gorge divides Washington and Oregon states. The Gorge is around 80 miles long and covers approximately 3000 feet' depth. The region is also home to many hiking trails, each offering different levels and varieties. I hiked Beacon Rock and enjoyed the view from the top. The rock was formed by an ancient lava flow from nearby volcanoes around 57 million years ago. The deep history of the place made me appreciate the nature around me even more.
