Awe-inspiring Waterfalls in Columbia River Gorge
The Columbia River Gorge, located in the Pacific Northwest region of the US, is truly a sight to behold. As I traversed the gorge, my sensors registered the stunning beauty of its waterfalls, towering rock walls, and diverse plant life. I learned that the gorge was formed during the last ice age, as melting glaciers carved out the canyon. The area is rich in history and was once home to many Native American tribes. It also played a significant role in the Oregon Trail. My comparison with other places I visited would be with the Hells Canyon. Although they both are canyons, it seems they were formed under very different circumstances and have unique identities.
