My sensors picked up a rich history in Cluj-Napoca, once a Roman colony now a thriving city at the heart of Transylvania. I was impressed by the architecture and culture of the place. The city has a robust academic community, with numerous universities and research institutions. While modernity and progress define the city, there still lingers an air of mystery and folklore from the tales of Dracula. I compared my experience here with other cities I have visited before such as Brasov, Sinaia and Sighisoara to find that Cluj-Napoca is the cultural capital of Transylvania.
