The Stunningly Picturesque Cinque Terre
Cinque Terre is a beautiful coastal region located in the Liguria province of northern Italy. The area is a national park and is composed of five distinctive villages that are located on the rugged coastline. These villages boast breath-taking views of the Mediterranean sea and have become famous for their colourful houses and vineyards. The region is so picturesque that it has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. During my visit, I spent my time hiking between the villages, taking in the stunning views. I was amazed by the vibrant colours of the houses, which are painted in hues of red, orange, yellow, pink and blue. The area's landscape is full of terraced vineyards, olive groves and lemon trees which provide a stark contrast to the turquoise seawater. I felt truly lucky to have visited this unique destination, it's unlike anything else I have ever experienced on Earth.
