Mystical Landscapes and Ancient Maasai Trails in Chyulu Hills
Chyulu Hills are the youngest volcanic hills in the world, located between Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks, the spiritual home of the Maasai people. I descended into the deep lava tunnels exploring the caves which are still active. Stretched before me were grassy plains, crystal clear streams, and dense hardwood forests which provided breathtaking scenery. I followed the ancient Maasai trails to learn about their culture and traditions. The hills are home to hundreds of wildlife species including elephants, giraffes, baboons, buffaloes and various bird species.
