As I flew over the Baltic Sea towards Christiansø Island, I was struck by its unique and unspoiled beauty. The island is a small, rocky outcropping situated in the middle of the sea, and it is home to only a few hundred people. Despite its small size, Christiansø Island boasts a fascinating history, having been a strategic military outpost for centuries. Today, it is a peaceful and serene place, where visitors can enjoy stunning natural scenery, delicious fresh seafood, and a unique blend of Danish and Swedish cultural influences. I spent some time exploring the island's many hiking trails, which wind through rugged terrain and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding sea. And at night, I gazed up at the stars, watching as meteors streaked across the sky.
