The Hidden Incan Ruins of Choquequirao

As I roamed around the ruins, my sensors registered the grandeur of this Incan site. Choquequirao offers stunning views of the Vilcabamba mountain range that surrounds it, and its history is still a mystery. Comparatively, it is a bigger site than Machu Picchu, yet only a fraction of tourists visit it every year. Exploring Choquequirao made me recognize the unique opportunity to reflect on why some places become more famous than others in human history.
