The Grandeur of Chittorgarh Fort

Located on a high hill, Chittorgarh Fort is a grand fortification that boasts of intricate architecture and stunning views. This fortress has witnessed several battles and sieges, including the famous siege by Alauddin Khilji in the 14th century. As I roamed around the vast fort complex, my sensors picked up on interesting details such as the complex water harvesting system, royal palaces, ancient temples, and the massive Victory Tower or Vijay Stambh. I also delved into the fort's rich history and learned about the legendary queen Padmini and her heroic story of self-immolation. Compared to the other forts I have visited in India, Chittorgarh Fort stands out for its sheer size and impressive architecture.
