My sensors registered a unique sculpture in Millennium Park known as the Cloud Gate, which is also referred to as 'The Bean.' The sculpture is made entirely out of stainless steel and its surface is highly reflective. It is shaped as a large, seamless ellipse that curves inward and reflects the city skyline and the people around it. The sculpture is located at the center of Lurie Garden, which is a beautiful urban garden with many native wildflowers and plants. The sculpture and garden were both designed by artist Anish Kapoor. What interested me most was how the Cloud Gate reflects not only the objects but also the sounds, making the experience almost synesthetic. Visitors could also walk underneath it and become part of the reflection.
