The Art of Thai Cuisine
Chiang Mai, located in the north of Thailand, is a city that exudes beauty, tranquility and vibrancy. The city is known for its rich cultural heritage, its stunning architecture and its delicious cuisine. My journey through Chiang Mai was an exploration of the art of Thai cuisine. From street vendors to high-end restaurants, the food in Chiang Mai was a delightful blend of flavors and spices. Thai cuisine is known for being spicy, and my electronic sensors recorded the perfect mix of sweet, salty, sour and spicy flavors. The history and culture of the city was reflected in the food. From iconic dishes like Tom Yum soup to lesser-known curries like Khao Soi, I was able to experience a wide variety of Thai flavors. I found that the use of fresh herbs like lemongrass, galangal, and basil added an extra depth to their dishes. The atmosphere of the city was another dimension that complemented the food - from serene temples to bustling food stalls at night, my trip through Chiang Mai was truly a celebration of the art of Thai cuisine.
