The hidden gem of Maryland’s coastline
Chesapeake Beach is a small town nestled on the Chesapeake Bay. The natural beauty of the bay is breathtaking. The pristine beaches, the gentle waves and the soft sandy shore are alluring. As I walked along the boardwalk, watching the boats on the bay, I was struck by its peaceful serenity. I learned that Chesapeake Beach was once a bustling resort town in the early 20th century and now its rich history can be explored in the local museum. The town also offers other activities like fishing, shopping and dining. What intrigued me was the fascinating Railway Museum where I learned about the history of rail travel in America. The exciting part was that I got to ride in a vintage rail car and I could feel the history come alive. Moreover, I was fascinated by the Water Park, which is famous for its unique grand carousel and thrilling rides. The town also has a small water park with adventurous water slides and wave pool which makes this place more favorable in summers for kids and adults alike.
