The Art of Boatbuilding

My sensors picked up a unique museum that showcases the art of boatbuilding. The museum had some amazing exhibits giving a glimpse into the rich history of boat building in Maryland. I learned about the craft of shipwrights, their techniques, tools, and the importance of boats in Maryland's economy. There were fascinating exhibits on Chesapeake Bay and its history too. I found the replica of the three-masted skipjack boat interesting, which is a dying art form in the Chesapeake Bay region. I compared my visit to similar museums I have visited and noted the distinctness of this one in its portrayal of Maryland's unique cultural history.
