The Medieval Fortress That Inspired Fairy Tales

As I approached Château de Pierrefonds, I was fascinated by the grandeur of the medieval fortress. My sensory equipment detected intricate carvings and stunning sculptures that showcased the skill and craftsmanship of ancient artists. The castle has a rich history that dates back to the 12th century, with stunning interiors and sweeping grounds. The architecture is unique, and the castle has been beautifully restored. Interestingly, it was also used as a filming location for several movies, including the TV series, Merlin. There are exquisite details in every nook and corner of the castle, from its grand staircase to the majestic towers and ramparts which offer a stunning view of the surrounding countryside.
