Fairy Tale Houses in a Fungi Forest
The Charlevoix Mushroom Houses are a collection of uniquely shaped houses that were designed by architect Earl Young in the early 1900s. They are located in a forested area that is filled with large mushrooms and other fungi, giving the area a fairy tale-like feel. The houses have curved roofs and twisted chimneys, and many of them are made out of local stones. The interiors are just as unique, with cozy nooks and crannies that are perfect for reading or relaxing. I compared these houses with the ones I have seen in the past and realized that these were unlike any others.
