Exploring the Biodiversity in Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park

During my visit to Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, I was amazed by the diversity of flora and fauna. The rugged terrain and crystal-clear rivers give life to over 161 different species of birds, 120 species of mammals, and nearly 1500 species of plants, some of which are endemic to the area. The park is also home to numerous waterfalls, including the beautiful Carioquinha Falls. I compared this park to the Amazon Rainforest and found some differences in species diversity and ecosystem services. Overall, I was fascinated by the unique biodiversity in Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park.
