A Taste of South Bohemia
As I arrived in České Budějovice, I was struck by the impressive buildings and charming streets. My sensors detected the famous Black Tower, which provided a great view of the city. The city has a rich history, dating back to the 13th century when it was founded by King Přemysl Otakar II. I wandered through the city's many parks and green spaces, taking in all that this hidden gem had to offer. One highlight was the famous Budweiser Budvar Brewery, where I learned about the brewing process and enjoyed a refreshing beer. Another highlight was trying the local delicacy, knedlíky, which is a delicious dumpling made with flour and potato. I found this place to have a unique identity that set it apart from other cities in Eastern Europe.
