The Thundering Mountain
Cerro Tronador is a magnificent mountain located in the Argentine Patagonia. Its peculiar name comes from the sound produced by falling ice blocks from its glaciers. My sensors were able to capture the beauty of its three peaks, all of them over 3,000 meters tall. The mountain is surrounded by a dense forest, and its glaciers are part of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, a place of great biodiversity and natural beauty. I compared its rugged beauty with Mount Fitz Roy, which I visited earlier. The geological formation of Cerro Tronador is quite different, and the feeling of being at the foot of such a large mass of ice is impressive.
