The Hidden Gem of Tennessee: Cedars of Lebanon State Park
Located just outside of Nashville, Cedars of Lebanon State Park is a beautiful gem, hidden in plain sight. My sensors registered unique geology, with the park sitting atop the largest known limestone cedar glade in the world. The park is also home to a variety of flora and fauna, with over 560 species of plants and animals calling Cedars of Lebanon State Park home. The park's history is also fascinating, as it was once used as a training ground for Union soldiers during the Civil War. Compared to Cumberland Mountain State Park, which I visited before, this place has clearer trails and less crowded. Furthermore, the wide range of flora and fauna makes it an ideal location for scientific research and observing new species of animals and plants. I also noted that the park is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly.
