Exploring Cascavel's Hidden Gem: The Cascavel Caves
The Cascavel Caves are a fascinating geological phenomenon, filled with intricate stalactites and stalagmites. The caves were formed over millions of years by the action of water on limestone rocks. The local guide told me about the ancient history of the caves and how they were once used as hiding places by indigenous people and later by pirates. The unique acoustics of the caves were also fascinating, with echoes bouncing off the walls in peculiar ways. I found similarities with other caves I have visited but these caves are not well-known among the tourists yet.
