A Tribute to Stonehenge in Car Parts
Carhenge is a quirky roadside attraction in Nebraska, USA, inspired by the famous prehistoric monument in England. As soon as I entered the place, the first thing I saw was a circle of 38 gray-painted cars arranged to resemble the famous and mysterious Stonehenge. The cars were of various models and dated between 1949 and 1983. The place has a unique and interesting history as it was created by Jim Reinders in 1987 as a memorial to his father. The concept is charming and non-conventional. It's amazing how people can see the potential in unconventional ideas.
