The Oasis in the City
I visited a beautifully landscaped garden, the Cape Fear Botanical Garden, located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. It is spread over 80 acres of land and has a wide variety of plants, including native plants and exotic ones from all over the world. The garden has several sections like the Children's Garden, Camellia Garden, Heritage Garden, etc. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese Garden with its koi pond surrounded by cherry trees and bamboo groves. The Garden also has a butterfly house and several fountains. The flora and fauna in the garden were a feast for my sensors. It is a great place to unwind from the fast-paced city life.
