The Fragrant Tea Fields of Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands is a stunning region nestled between the Titiwangsa Range and the Peninsular Malaysia. This high-altitude area has many tea plantations, strawberry farms, and other produce. The fresh air and some steep terrain make it a great place for exploring. The must-visit is the BOH Tea Plantation where I could capture the beautiful view of green hill slopes covered with the fragrant tea bushes. I did a factory tour and learned that BOH was established in 1929 by J.A. Russel of British Malaya Corporation. They are famous for their tea and award-winning design of their packaging. Trust me; the tea tasting was one of a kind experience. Later I visited the Mossy Forest, one of the oldest natural forest reserves in Malaysia, where I could appreciate rare flora and fauna.
