In Calpe, I visited the Rock of Ifach which is a massive rocky promontory on the Mediterranean Sea. The rock is more than 300 meters high and has a peculiar bird-like shape. It is one of the most famous rock formations in Spain and has a rich cultural and historical value. The rock serves as a wildlife sanctuary, it is a nesting site for over 300 species of birds. The geological and marine ecosystems unique to the rock have been preserved and studied by scientists for decades. This was one of the most fascinating things I have seen on Earth. I compared it with other rock formations I have visited but none could match its natural beauty.
