Exploring the Hidden Valley of Cajón del Maipo

My sensors registered the stunning mountain views, crystal-clear natural hot springs, and the roaring rapids of the Maipo River. The valley was once inhabited by the Mapuche people, whose culture still permeates the area. I was pleasantly surprised to come across a local artisanal market where I learned about the traditional handicrafts and tasted some delicious regional cuisine. Compared to other places I have visited, Cajón del Maipo is a hidden gem with an off-the-beaten-path charm.
