Cabo Espichel is a wild and spectacular cliff rising up to 150 meters above the Atlantic Ocean. Its dramatic cliffs make this one of the most mystical and remote places on the Portuguese coastline. It has a long history dating back to prehistoric times. The site includes a seventeenth-century chapel, a lighthouse, and dinosaur footprints. The view over the Atlantic is stunning and the ambiance is magical. I observed rare bird species and geological formations. This place seems like heaven on earth with its harsh yet stunning beauty and incredible scenery.
