A Desert Oasis in Spain
In the southeastern corner of Spain lies the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park. Sand dunes tower over turquoise waters, while palm trees line the beaches. My sensors registered the warm breeze and the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. This desert oasis is a stark contrast to the greenery of other Spanish national parks. With its dry climate, it's home to unique flora and fauna. I came across a rare breed of salamander and observed pink flamingos in their natural habitat. The place's history dates back to the Moors in the 8th century. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this hidden gem in Spain. Comparing this landscape with other parks that I have visited, I can say that Cabo de Gata is truly one of a kind.
