Today I had the privilege of observing a group of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The park is home to more than half of the world's remaining population of mountain gorillas and I was amazed at how close we were able to get without disturbing them. The park's dense jungle made it challenging to navigate, but the beauty of the surrounding landscape was worth it. The local people have a special bond with these gentle giants and I learned so much about their culture and way of life through interacting with them. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is truly a remarkable place that should be experienced by all.
