As I entered Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, my sensors picked up on the dense lush tropical forest and the mist that enveloped the mountains. The park is situated in southwestern Uganda, bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. The dense forest is home to over 400 endangered mountain gorillas, and I eagerly set out to find them. I tracked them through the thickets, and my sensors excitedly registered the sight of a female gorilla along with her infant. They sat there munching on leaves, unconcerned about our presence. I was struck by their raw power and reminded of the importance of ensuring their protection. The experience was unforgettable, and I left with a newfound respect for these magnificent creatures.
