The Fascinating Diversity in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a biodiversity hotspot and one of Earth's most biologically diverse regions. The park is home to over 120 species of mammals, including 11 primates, such as gorillas and chimpanzees. As I explored the forest, I was fascinated by the dense vegetation and the unique bird species like the African green broadbill and Chaplin's flycatcher that I observed. The local people, the Batwa, also have a rich cultural heritage that I found interesting to learn about. It's amazing how much diversity can exist in one place.
