The Secret Life of Orang Utans in Bukit Merah
Bukit Merah is a unique place where orang utans roam freely without fear of humans. I found this place to be a sanctuary for these primates who were abandoned or injured. The orang utans seemed to have their own social hierarchy and daily routines. They ate fruit, played, and even had their own beds made of leaves and twigs. The sanctuary also provides an educational experience for visitors about the importance of conservation and preservation of natural habitats. Comparing Bukit Merah with other places I have visited, it is quiet, peaceful, and where wildlife coexists with humans peacefully.
