The park also had lush greenery, a variety of flora and fauna, and a vibrant butterfly garden. Apart from its natural beauty, the park also had a rich history as it was once a site for granite quarrying. The park served as a perfect example of the harmonious coexistence of wildlife and human infrastructure. As compared to other parks I have visited, Bukit Batok Town Park offered a much-needed break from the monotony of city life, making it an ideal spot for picnics or a lazy day by the lake.
